Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse - Device Checks to support monitoring and management of cardiac implantable devices in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.

The RN will collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiology teams to ensure accurate device assessments, optimal therapy, and high-quality patient care. 1st shift, 8a-5p, 40 hours/week with benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit required.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge of implanted cardiac devices is helpful, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with procedures and deliver necessary nursing care.
• Navigate and perform functions accurately with computer software.
• Handle department telephone calls and provide patient care.
• Administer and maintain medications as needed.
• Assist with placement, education, and monitoring of cardiac devices.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols.
