Job summary

The position requires a BSN (preferred), active RN licensure, BLS, and about 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Expect 40 hours weekly, with travel within the Greater Milwaukee area and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license (multistate compact and/or single-state) with privileges to practice.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.
• BLS certification required; additional specialty certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; engage patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation; may float to other units as needed.
