Job summary

Cardiology Nurse (RN) in Olathe Hospital is a full-time daytime role focusing on cardiovascular procedures beyond stress testing, including Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Cardioversions, Tilt Tables, CCTAs, and NIPS. You will provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, effective care.

Hours: Days M-F with 8-hour shifts; shifts vary to cover the Cardiovascular Center hours (6:30-4:30).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years of RN experience preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care for cardiovascular procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and EKGs as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and communicate with care teams.
• Support activities to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.
