Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centric care in a physician�s office setting. The role includes clinical assessment, patient advocacy, education, and case management, with collaboration across care teams.

Must be a Florida-licensed RN with no new grads; experience in ambulatory care or hospital settings and Epic preferred. May float to other UFHP practices as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Registered Nurse by the State of FL Required (No New Grads)
• One year of specialty experience or two years of ambulatory care or hospital based experience preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Certification in area of specialty preferred
• Proven ability to multitask, problem solve, and be a team player is essential. Outstanding patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, exceptional cognitive abilities, team focus, and problem solving skills are required for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centric care to patients in a physician’s office setting.
• Provide clinical nursing assessment and act as patient care advocate, support, counseling and education to patients.
• Direct clinical staff and maintain regulatory institutional policy and procedures.
• May float to other UFHP practices for staffing as needed.
