The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Sierra Nevada Health Care System is seeking a Staff Physician - Cardiology to deliver high quality cardiovascular care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role includes supervision of residents and medical students, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to federal medical bylaws and CME requirements. This opening is part of an open continuous announcement with periodic referral cutoffs; EDRP participation is available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Board certification in the relevant specialty (Interventional Cardiology preferred).
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical evaluation and direct overall management of cardiology patients.
• Supervise and educate Internal Medicine residents and medical students.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure patient outcomes and quality care.
• Adhere to bylaws, policies, and record-keeping requirements.
