Job summary

Covenant Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant for Cardiology Associates of East Tennessee - Lenoir City to join our cardiology team.

The PA will independently and with physicians schedule and supervise procedures, perform assessments, and provide direct patient care within state scope, collaborating across the health care team in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Licensure in Tennessee and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a physician assistant by the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations; assess and treat medical problems and provide direct patient care.
• Develop and implement outcome-based, individualized plans for patient care.
• Consult and coordinate with health care providers; work as a member of the team.
• Coordinate with management to provide quality delivery of care and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the health care team; document patient notes clearly.
• Assist in disaster planning and related activities; complete chart reviews regularly.
