Job summary

BMCHS is seeking a physician to admit, evaluate, and treat patients in both office and inpatient hospital settings, including invasive and non-invasive procedures. You will manage patient care, order tests, interpret results, and help coordinate treatment plans under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting orders, assisting with device programming, ensuring smooth transitions of care, and educating patients on treatments and preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Admit, evaluate, and treat patients in office and inpatient hospital settings
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Perform routine diagnostics and interpret findings such as EKGs and radiology studies
• Monitor noninvasive testing including stress tests and nuclear cardiology scans
• Document treatment plans and orders; coordinate with Attending Physicians on plans
• Transcribe preoperative and postoperative orders and contribute to discharge summaries
• Ensure care transitions from inpatient to outpatient settings with medication reconciliation
• Educate patients and families about preventive care and prescribed treatments
• Maintain confidential patient records and support regulatory compliance
