Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret ECGs.
• Proficient in obtaining medical histories and patient examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and obtain medical histories.
• Evaluate medications and laboratory tests for patients.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-ups for cardiac procedures.
• Assist in cardiac catheterization lab procedures and inpatient consults.
• Monitor and follow patients in the cardiac care unit.

Skills

Board eligible or board certified by NCCPA

Licensed to practice in New York State

Experience with ECG and blood pressure monitoring equipment

ACLS and BLS certification
