Non-Invasive and Interventional Cardiology Opportunities:

Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking motivated, capable, and board-eligible or board-certified Cardiologists to join our distinguished division of Heart & Vascular Services. The position focuses on clinical cardiology with a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties, including echo stress and cardiac imaging, aligned with training and interest. Candidates should have completed fellowship training in Cardiology or Interventional Cardiology and be eligible for certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

The Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown Heart & Vascular Institute is the region's largest and rapidly expanding practice, comprising 15 employed cardiologists, including 5 interventional cardiologists and 3 electrophysiologists. The team is supported by 13 advanced practice clinicians delivering care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Our cardiology practices operate at three locations serving three hospitals within the tri-county area.

Our group also includes three board-certified Cardiothoracic surgeons and four vascular surgeons. We perform a high volume of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries annually, with over 300 cardiac cases scheduled this year, excluding TAVR procedures. The hospital is a Level 1 trauma center, certified stroke and chest pain centers, with PCI capabilities, and is Ohio’s only sepsis center of excellence.
