SageWest Health Care in Wyoming is recruiting an experienced Cardiologist to build and lead our new service line from the ground up. This full-time position offers a mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage with strong administrative support and a focus on work-life balance.

Join a community hospital in Fremont County with 133 beds across Lander and Riverton, providing 24/7 hospitalist, emergency care, and advanced imaging.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Cardiology.
• Ability to obtain WY medical license and DEA with full prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Initial mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage.
• Build and lead the cardiology program with strong administrative support.
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with ~10 on-call days per month.
• Guaranteed compensation during ramp-up and dedicated clinical staff.
• Help shape program development and future expansion.

About The Position

Scope Of Practice

• General / Non-Invasive Cardiology
• Electrophysiology (EP) welcomed
• Echo, TEE, nuclear/stress testing, cardiac CT/MRI
• Device management including pacemakers and ICDs

Not Included

• Interventional cardiology
• PCI/STEMI coverage

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Cardiology
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
