Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE in cardiology.
• Experience with pacemaker and cardiac implant patients is a plus.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiology services including clinic and inpatient care.
• Participate in an equal share of call (currently 1:4).
• Conduct procedures in the Cath Lab and Special Procedures Rooms.

Mount Nittany Health is recruiting a skilled, BC/BE General Cardiologist to meet the community need! Join a well-established, employed group of 8 physicians and 4 PA-C s. Located in State College, PA, Mount Nittany Medical Center is a 260-bed acute care facility that offers all of the luxuries of a college town including short commutes, NCAA Sports, Arts, high quality schools and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

• FT; IP/OP
• 3 General Cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists and 4 PA-C s
• Equal share of call currently 1:4, future call 1:5
• Special Device Clinic for Pacer and Cardiac Implant Patients
• 1 Cath Lab
• 4 Special Procedures Rooms w/ a 5 th on the way! 2 Vascular and 2 Echo currently
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Compensation Package:

• Competitive base salary + wRVU production incentive
