About the Job:

Full-time seeking a BC/BE Cardiologist-Electrophysiologist to join a well-established cardiology group based in Pocatello, Idaho. The Heart & Vascular Institute at the Level II medical center is among the most highly regarded groups in the region. With a proud history of clinical excellence, the physicians focus on the prevention of heart disease, as well as rapid intervention and comprehensive care to restore patients' health. The team utilizes advanced device management technology, including implanted Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop recorders, and Zio monitoring. They are dedicated to their patients and invested in the community.

The highly trained cardiac team is committed to excellence in heart & vascular care and looks forward to welcoming new team members.

Team and Practice Details:

• Join a cardiology group of 10 physicians, 7 advanced practitioners, and 26 support staff members.
• Participate in an established Electrophysiology practice performing cardiac ablations, WATCHMAN procedures, and pacemaker implantations.
• Serve a varied patient population with diverse EP needs.
• Be part of a full-spectrum heart program including general, interventional, EP, structural, and open-heart specialties.
• Experience increasing cardiology volumes annually.

Position Details:

• Hospital-employed, single specialty group.
• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Dedicated onsite lab and EKG facilities.
• Clinic/lab schedule: Monday to Friday with some weekend requirements.
• Call rotation: 7 days/month with excess call pay.
• Optional supervision of residents and/or medical students.
• Excellent work-life balance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ABIM BC/BE Cardiologist with subspecialization in Electrophysiology.
• Fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Experienced and graduating electrophysiology fellows are encouraged to apply.
