Job Opportunity: General Cardiologist (Locum)

A hospital located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina is seeking a skilled General Cardiologist to provide locum coverage.

Details of the Position:

1. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with a 7 on/7 off rotation
2. Call: Weekdays (5 pm - 8 am) and weekends
3. Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
4. Patient Census: Approximately 20 patients per day
5. Cases: Bread and butter cardiology (consults, stress tests, ECHOs, etc.); no caths, ICU, or monitoring units
6. Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
7. Requirements: Board certification
8. Compensation: Paid travel and expenses
