Job description

Outpatient Cardiology Locums Southern California

The locum physician is needed to assist with outpatient services only. They will supervise APCs and may read tests such as Treadmill, Echocardiograms, Holters, and Stress Echocardiograms, but this is not mandatory. Responsibilities include covering consultations, transfer of care, follow-up visits, and cardiac clearance requests.

The physician will have an assigned Medical Assistant and will share a team comprising one RN, four Echo technicians, two treadmill technicians, one Holter technician, and two nuclear technicians. They will also help supervise APCs.

The expected patient load is approximately 20-22 patients per day. The schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or on-call duties.
