Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, you will be compensated.

Practice Details

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges approximately from $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekend or night call requirements.
4. Malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice. In over 400,000 evaluations over 19 years, we have not had a malpractice inquiry or action.

Our Mission and Services

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit. These services are requested by physicians and speech-language pathologists for patients with swallowing difficulties, often scheduled within 24 to 72 hours of request, with same-day appointments when possible.

Work Environment and Schedule

Our staff typically works between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily, ensuring no late evenings or weekend work.
