Overview

Job Specifics

• OSF Healthcare's Cardiovascular Institute, a group of 40+ Cardiologists serving the central Midwest, is looking to add a General Cardiologist to the practice in Danville, IL.
• Epic EMR
• The OSF Cardiovascular Service Line, headquartered in Peoria, IL, collaborates with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to provide comprehensive services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease.
• We deliver specialized care through CV surgery, MCS, Transplant, Aortic Center, Structural Heart, Advanced HF, Cardio One, Cardio OB, and handle over 300 STEMI cases annually.
• This is a full-time position with a clinical base salary range of $440,000 to $582,082.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Licenses/Certifications: Physician licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in Illinois. Licensed by the DEA and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty(s). Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges.

Eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.

Meet all qualifications for OSF professional malpractice and liability coverage.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned with patient preferences, goals, and needs.
