Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments for cardiology providers.
• Serve as primary contact for scheduling and inquiries.
• Coordinate referrals from PCPs and outside specialists.
• Verify referrals, medical records, and insurance information before appointments.
• Schedule testing and follow-up appointments per provider recommendations.
• Obtain prior authorizations for tests and procedures.
• Communicate appointment details and prep instructions to patients.
• Maintain accurate EHR records and document care coordination.
