Baptist Health is seeking a Cardiology Patient Care Technician to join the patient care team at Baptist Medical Center South. The PCT assists RNs, LPNs, and physicians with routine duties and provides support in non-complex patient care tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified nursing assistant program or health occupations program preferred; BLS required; lifting up to 50 pounds; and effective communication with patients and team members.

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program (HOSA) preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student or 1 year of experience in a patient care role in an acute care, nursing home or home care setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians in the patient care process.
• Support routine and non-complex aspects of patient care.
• This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
