Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patient examinations and treatments under the direct supervision of a physician or APP. Duties include checking in patients, recording vital signs, reconciling medications, reviewing medical history, expediting patient flow, rooming patients, stocking supplies, and navigating the EPIC/EHR system.

The role emphasizes respectful communication and adherence to Baptist's mission and values in delivering service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, navigating databases containing confidential information.
• Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate, within 90 days of hire.
• Orientation/externship and additional training as needed.
• Must have own reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Check in patients, obtain vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, pulse oximetry, temperature) and medication reconciliation.
• Obtain patient medical history information and expediting patient flow.
• Room patients, stock clinic with supplies, navigate EPIC/EHR.
• Perform other non-clinical duties as needed.
• Communicate in a respectful manner and uphold Baptist's mission and core values.
