Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Patient Care Tech II to support bedside care under the Nurse Manager. You will perform nursing procedures, document patient data, assist with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection, and support physicians during examinations.

This role requires a high school diploma and a PCT/CNA/EMT credential or equivalent experience; BLS from AHA is required. Two years of nursing assistant or PCT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One of the following: PCT or related certification, CNA, EMT.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care to patients under nursing supervision.
• Maintain documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets.
• Assist with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S and blood cultures.
• Support physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
• Assist with respiratory and rehabilitation services as required.
