Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an Office Specialist at Baptist Cardiology, located at the Sleep Center in Southside. This is a full-time day-shift role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, reporting to the office manager.

You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. We seek a focused, task-oriented, self-motivated team player who thrives in a busy healthcare setting; prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One-Two Years Front Desk Experience Preferred
• Experience Working in a Medical Office Preferred
• Assisting patients as needed

Responsibilities

• Register patients and post charges/payments
• Follow telephone protocols
• Assist with referrals as needed
• Check in and check out patients
• Review unpaid insurance claims
• Process daily mail
• Scan documents
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers
