Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our nationwide network of advanced practice providers.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop cardiovascular treatment plans with cardiologists, and educate patients and families while ensuring compliant medical records and quality care across facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and medication adherence
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
• Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and Government regulations and site quality and safety systems
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patients

• Knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines
• Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and Government regulations and perform duties in accordance with site quality and safety systems
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patients

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Preferred experience in cardiology: training provided
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Travel between facilities required
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Carrying medical equipment. Lifting/moving patients.
