Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. This part-time role involves direct patient care for cardiovascular conditions, with collaboration among cardiologists and the broader care team.

The ideal candidate holds an NP or PA license, a Master’s in Nursing, and a DEA license, with at least six months in long-term care. You will perform exams, order tests, and educate families while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted NP/PA license.
• DEA License required.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certification.
• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Graduated from an accredited NP program.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including history and exams.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop treatment plans for cardiovascular conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct cardiac stress tests, EKGs and other diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and medication adherence.
• Document medical records accurately for compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage complex patients.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
• Knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines
• Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and Government regulations and perform duties in accordance with site quality and safety systems
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patients

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Preferred experience in cardiology: training provided
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Carrying medical equipment. Lifting/moving patients.
