• Prescribes medications and therapies per approved protocols and supervising physician guidance.
• Forms and implements treatment plans; collaborates with physicians and team members as needed.
• Counsels patients and families on medical processes, medications, nutrition and health promotion.
• Maintains records detailing treatment plans and outcomes and coordinates referrals as necessary.
• Provides consultation for conditions related to the specialty and manages care in non-primary settings.
• Performs invasive procedures specific to scope of practice as delegated.
