Position Highlights:


  • Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base

  • Offices offer a broad array of cardiovascular services: exercise stress testing, non-invasive imaging, echocardiogram and vascular studies, nuclear stress testing, pacemakers, and defibrillators

  • All specialties on the same EMR

  • Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility

  • Clinic days are 8:30am - 5:30pm




Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and diagnosing cardiac conditions in patients.

  • Helping to perform cardiac testing and interpreting results.

  • Working with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.

  • Prescribing medication and administering treatment.

  • Counseling and educating patients on cardiac conditions and prevention.

Required Qualifications:

  • Cardiology experience in an outpatient setting (2+ years)

  • Master's degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.

  • Certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA or as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC and/or AANP.

  • Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York.

  • Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start).




The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $156,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
