• 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in related field.

The role supports both inpatient and outpatient care, collaborating closely with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality cardiovascular services in a scenic mountain community.

• Base Salary: $97,240 to $145,870 (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary

The Cardiology NP or PA-C delivers comprehensive cardiovascular care to adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Under the direction of a medical staff member, the provider performs assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning. This role emphasizes collaborative care, resource stewardship, and compassionate communication while upholding high standards of clinical excellence and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnostics
• Provide care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings
• Round on hospitalized patients and perform consults
• Supervise and interpret stress testing (echo, exercise, nuclear, dobutamine)
• Supervise tilt table testing
• Communicate proactively to identify complications and optimize outcomes
• Coordinate patient care with team members and medical staff
• Perform all other assigned duties as needed
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a related field
• Master’s degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited PA program
• Current, unrestricted APN or PA License in Colorado (DORA)
• DEA license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Ability to work independently with strong cardiovascular assessment skills
