Job summary
Independence Health System in Greensburg, PA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner IV for a full-time, on-site cardiology practice. The NP will manage cardiac patients, identify findings, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with cardiology physicians.
The role requires a Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner, current NP licensure, CRNP certification, and DEA registration. Cardiology experience and strong communication skills are preferred to support patient care and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Nurse Practitioner required.
- Current state NP license and CRNP certification.
- DEA registration required.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in cardiology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manages patients' physical and psychological needs.
- Identifies normal and abnormal findings.
- Implements and revises individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribes immunizations per schedules.
- Communicates with physicians and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintains patient care documentation accurately and timely.
- Assists in on-call, weekend coverage and critical procedures as needed.
