Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in a hospital setting. Start ASAP with a 2 weeks per month schedule: 7 days on, 7 off, 7:30am-4pm on Sundays through Saturdays. No overnights or on-call.

EPIC EMR used; Michigan license required. The role includes managing follow-up cardiology patients on the rounding service, providing discharge instructions, and post-procedure care in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP/PA in cardiology with current licensure.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Michigan medical license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology rounding service.
• Provide discharge instructions and post-procedure care.
• Care for inpatient cardiology patients during shifts.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 2 weeks per month - 7 days on, 7 off. Sunday-Saturday 7:30am-4pm. No overnights, no on-call.
• Practice Setting: Hospital, inpatientType of cases: No procedure skills required. Will manage follow up patients on the cardiology, rounding service, provide discharge instructions and manage post-procedure care.
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC
• Certifications required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Licensure required: Michigan state medical license
