Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens coverage in New Jersey. The role includes inpatient cardiology consults, rounds, stress testing, and weekend coverage with a typical patient load of 12–24. Temporary/full privileges available; NJ license required.

Epic is the EMR used. Shifts: Fri 10h, Sat 11h, Sun 11h, Mon 8h; coverage 2–3 times per month, including December weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cardiology experience for inpatient consults and management.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider.
• New Jersey license required and privileges available.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consults and patient management.
• Perform stress testing and rounding during shifts.
• Cover weekend and holiday calls as scheduled.
• Maintain patient load of 12–24 cases per day on average.

This facility is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Schedule

Friday 10-hour shift, Saturday 11-hour shift, Sunday 11-hour shift, and Monday 8-hour shift; coverage 2–3 times per month, with all weekends in December plus Christmas and New Year holiday coverage
