Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing and NP licensure required.
• NY NP licensure and NP board certification required.
• DEA certification eligibility required.
• ACLS and BLS ACLS/AHA certifications required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive medical, surgical, and psychosocial histories and perform exams.
• Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions; coordinate care with physicians.
• Order/interpret tests; prescribe treatments and vaccines as appropriate.
• Perform stress testing, device interrogations, echocardiography with contrast.
• Manage remote device clinic and anticoagulation clinic.
• Complete pre-op clearances and post-op follow-up care.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and refer when needed.
• Document encounters in the outpatient EMR; maintain care plans.
