Texas Health Physicians Group in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Cardiovascular Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a team of board-certified physicians. This hospital-based role involves rounding in the hospital and ICU, evaluating new consults, and managing cardiology patients with access to nuclear testing, stress tests, and echocardiograms on site.

The NP will report to the Medical Director and must hold a Texas NP license and board certification, with 1–3 years of cardiology experience.

Formación

• Active Texas license.
• Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and Experience.
• Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• 1-3 years of Cardiology experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Hospital rounding including ICU rounding and management of cardiology patients.
• Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital.
• Maintain Electronic Medical Records.

Position Details

• Full time- 40 hours per week - hospital based
• Hospital rounding including ICU Rounding and management of cardiology patients

Requirements Needed To Apply

• Active Texas license
• Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and Experience
• Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitoner program
• 1-3 years of Cardiology experience required

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
