Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging. You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition and data collection.

Shift patterns include weekday and weekend coverage; ARRT or NMTCB certification (or eligibility) and BLS are required, with certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program with ARRT or NMTCB certification, or eligibility; certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Associate's Degree or higher with ARRT or NMTCB certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
• Work closely with physicians to ensure safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.
