Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging and therapy. You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe, accurate acquisition of images and data.

Shift options include 6:30a–3:00p or 8:30a–5:00p, with rotating weekends. Weekend and one holiday per quarter are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and certified or eligible for ARRT/NMTCB.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
• Work closely with physicians to ensure safe and accurate image acquisition.
• Shift varies: 6:30a-3:00p or 8:30a-5:00p; weekends/holidays required.

Education

Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (ARRT or NMTCB) OR eligibility

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Associate’s Degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
