Job summary

Moonlighting Solutions, LLC is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for inpatient Cardiology coverage in Central North Carolina. This weekend role features 7a–7p shifts, with rounding on 8–12 patients per shift, including consults and stress test supervision.

A Cardiologist is available by phone 24/7, with hospitalist and ED support onsite. Epic EMR is used; paid travel and hotel accommodations, malpractice tail coverage, and dedicated credentialing support are

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina medical license and DEA registration.
• Strong inpatient cardiology experience with ability to work independently.
• Experience with stress testing required or documented competency.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on 8–12 patients per shift with consults and stress testing supervision.
• Weekend inpatient cardiology coverage from 7a–7p.
• Coordinate with Cardiologist available by phone 24/7 and hospitalist/ED support onsite.

Looking for a weekend moonlighting opportunity that fits alongside your current practice? We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for inpatient Cardiology coverage in Central North Carolina.

Details

• Saturday and Sunday shifts, 7a–7p
• Coverage across two hospital locations during each shift
• Rounding on approximately 8–12 patients per shift, plus consults, stress test supervision, and nurse calls
• Cardiologist available by phone 24/7, with hospitalist and emergency department support onsite
• Epic EMR

Credentials

• Active North Carolina license and DEA
• Strong inpatient Cardiology experience and comfort working independently
• Stress testing experience required, supported by documentation of 60 pharmacologic and 40 exercise/treadmill tests supervised or a supervising physician's letter confirming competency
