Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a PRN Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to cover stress testing, noninvasive cardiology testing, and cross-cover TEE and cardioversions. This role supports inpatient and outpatient consults and collaborates with the CHF Readmission Team on improvement projects.

The ideal candidate is board-certified with cardiology or medicine experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and CT license plus DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA with cardiology experience.
• At least one year of advanced practice experience in Cardiology or Medicine (or nursing in Cardiology/Medicine).
• Connecticut NP/PA license, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration, and Federal DEA required.

Responsabilités

• Coverage for stress testing (Regular and Nuclear) and noninvasive testing.
• Support inpatient and outpatient consults.
• Work with the CHF Readmission Team on improvement projects.
• Cross-cover TEE and cardioversion procedures.
