Job summary

Tenet Healthcare Corporation seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ. The role supports a busy cardiology practice with access to care for a high-volume patient population in a clinic-based setting.

The NP/PA will work in collaboration with cardiologists, manage complex medical patients, and participate in diagnosing, testing, and treatment planning in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree as Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
• Current license, certified or registered to practice as required by state law, with RN/NP license; additional board certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supports outpatient cardiovascular care and collaborates with physicians.
• Manages new and established cardiology patients to improve access and throughput.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic testing and develops treatment plans.
• Adheres to Tenet policies and HIPAA compliance.
• Provides patient education and coordinates with staff and physicians.
