Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo seeks a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (FNP/AGNP or PA-C) to join a growing cardiology team with EP and interventional exposure.

The role blends inpatient and outpatient care with strong collaboration and mentorship. You will evaluate cardiovascular patients in clinic and hospital settings, support EP and interventional services, and participate in rounds and patient education under a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Certified NP (FNP/AGNP) or PA-C with Iowa licensure eligibility.
• Cardiology experience preferred; strong acute care/internal medicine backgrounds encouraged to apply.
• Interest in EP and Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings.
• Support EP and Interventional services including arrhythmia management, post-procedure care, and cath lab cases.
• Perform rounding, consults, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care coordinators.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.
