Job summary
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group in Chicago, IL, is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to support our cardiology team. The role offers outpatient and limited inpatient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, working with board-certified cardiologists in a high-acuity environment.
Requirements include an IL NP/PA license, cardiology experience, ACLS and BLS certification, and at least 1 year in cardiology or internal medicine.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Illinois.
- Cardiology experience preferred; ACLS and BLS certification are required.
- Experience in cardiology or internal medicine is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and cardiac evaluations.
- Manage chronic cardiac conditions and assist with medication management.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to monitor and adjust treatment plans.
- Support post-discharge follow-up and transitional care.
