Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a Physician Assistant to support cardiology care in hospital and outpatient clinic settings in Houston. You will evaluate patients, document findings, order tests, and coordinate care with physicians and EPIC systems.

Qualified candidates have Texas PA licensure and 3+ years of PA experience, with CPR/BCLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
• CPR/BCLS must be current or ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Eligible to be granted limited prescriptive authority by the State of Texas.
• Minimum 3 years general PA experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide care in hospital and outpatient clinic settings for cardiac patients.
• Discharge planning and daily rounds as directed by physicians.
• Document evaluations, orders, and plans of care in the medical record.
• Coordinate referrals and studies per guidelines and protocols.
• Serve as primary contact for EPIC optimization requests from clinical provider perspective.
