Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to support hospital and outpatient clinic settings, including clinic office evaluations, virtual visit assessments, and office call reports. You will use critical thinking to manage cardiac patient care under a physician, perform exams, and document plans of care.

The role requires Texas PA licensure, eligibility for limited prescriptive authority, and a minimum of 3 years PA experience. Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
• Eligible to be granted limited prescriptive authority by the State of Texas.
• Minimum 3 years general PA experience.

Responsibilities

• Primary Focus is centered on responsibilities within the hospital & outpatient clinic setting.
• Uses critical thinking to manage care of cardiac patients as directed by the physician in both the hospital and clinic settings
• Performs and documents physical exams and interviews as well as the plan of care as decided by the physician
• Educates patients and their family about cardiac and medical issues, outcomes, the role of the caregiver, and medication management.
