The role emphasizes collaboration with supervising cardiologists, documentation accuracy, and participation in after-hours coverage as needed, with opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Master of Science Physician Assistant studies.
• Min 3 years of experience in a cardiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care under physician supervision.
• Conduct physical exams, obtain medical histories, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions (e.g., hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure).
• Adjust pacemaker settings and interpret electrocardiograms.
• Supervise and interpret nuclear and treadmill stress tests.
• Provide post-procedural follow-up and anticoagulation therapy management.
• Assist with or independently perform minor in-office procedures.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Participate in call coverage and occasional evening/weekend shifts as needed.
