Dignity Health Medical Group - Merced is seeking a Cardiology NP or PA to join a growing, physician-led practice. You will provide expert outpatient care for adult cardiac patients and help shape a patient-centered Cardiology network.

Join a mission-driven team with Monday–Friday schedule, no inpatient call, and benefits including salary, bonuses, and relocation support. Experience in cardiology and CA licensure is required.

Competenze

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active or eligible NP/PA license in California.
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• Active DEA certification (or eligible to obtain).
• Strong clinical experience or training in cardiology care principles.

Mansioni

• Deliver outpatient cardiology consultative services, follow-up care, and routine screenings.
• Conduct cardiovascular assessments and interpret tests (ECG, Holter, stress tests) and craft evidence-based plans.

As our Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will join a growing, physician-led practice at Dignity Health Medical Group - Merced, playing a pivotal role in the continued success, design, and development of our regional Cardiology service line.

As our Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will join a growing, physician-led practice at Dignity Health Medical Group - Merced, playing a pivotal role in the continued success, design, and development of our regional Cardiology service line.

You will provide expert outpatient clinical care to adult cardiac patients, collaborating closely with our cardiologists to manage a wide variety of conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension. You will also contribute significantly to shaping a robust, patient-centered care network in a highly collaborative environment.

To be successful in this role, you will be a licensed Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate cardiac care to a diverse community, strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, and a commitment to working within a supportive, mission-driven team environment. This opportunity is structured to support an excellent work-life balance, offering a predictable Monday through Friday schedule with no hospital inpatient call constraints.

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient cardiology consultative services, follow-up care, and routine cardiac screenings.
• Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments, interpret diagnostic tests (such as EKGs, holter monitors, and stress tests), and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
• Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with a dedicated network of local primary care providers and advanced practice clinicians to optimize patient referral and follow-up pathways.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular disease management, modern lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence to improve long‑term health outcomes.

• Annual base salary ($150,000 - $165,000/year) plus productivity-based incentives

Required

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active or eligible Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of California
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Demonstrated clinical experience or a strong foundational training background in cardiology care principles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-based clinical problem-solving skills

Pay Range

$150,000 - $167,000 /year
