Scripps Health in San Diego search for a Nurse Practitioner to support the Cardiology inpatient department. This Part Time role includes On Call shifts, with about 10-15 patients daily, requiring strong Cardiology/Cath Lab background and independent work style.

The ideal candidate will have experience with structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, or MitraClip and be dedicated to patient-centered care in a collaborative hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Cardiology inpatient experience preferred for this role.
• Cath Lab background advantageous for rounds and procedures.
• Self-directed and able to work independently in a hospital setting.
• Experience with structural heart procedures is a plus (TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinician expertise while rounding with cardiac procedural patients (10–15 per day).
• Support the Cardiology inpatient department and care teams.
• Contribute to patient-centered care and collaborative clinical practice.
