Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current DEA registration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional liability insurability through MCH.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiological assessments, including histories and exams.
• Diagnose and manage patients with cardiac conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and evidence-based care strategies.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac care and prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
