Job summary

Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team. You will work with cardiologists to deliver patient-centered care, perform comprehensive cardiology assessments, diagnose and manage cardiac conditions, order tests, and develop treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain professional liability insurability through MCH.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive cardiological assessments including detailed patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions.
  • Order and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging studies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and evidence-based care strategies.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patients between visits and ensure continuity of care.
  • Triage patient calls and provide clinical consultation as appropriate.

What You'll Do
