Franciscan Health Michigan City Campus is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to meet the growing demand for cardiology services in Michigan City, IN. The NP will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with physicians to deliver the highest quality patient care, developing strong ties with patients and the community.

The position offers a flexible full-time schedule with no weekends or holidays, with an average patient volume of 6-10 per day, and no call requirement.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• PA-C or NP certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure assessment, including history and physicals.
• Post-procedure rounding and visits, discharge planning and summaries.
• Manage cath site/post-procedure issues and initiate emergency measures.
• Coordinate with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care and educate patients.
