Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Rahway, NJ, seeks a Nurse Practitioner for the Cardiology Service. The APN will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide direct patient care, perform consults, and support education and research activities.

The role requires MSN/DNP, active NJ RN and APN licenses, and 3+ years of acute care experience; cardiology experience is preferred. Location is Rahway with Day shift and salaried status.

Qualifications

• MSN/DNP from an accredited nursing program required.
• Active New Jersey RN and APN license required.
• At least 3 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Cardiology experience preferred.
• APN work experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive direct care and follow-up to cardiology patients.
• Collaborate with Cardiology Attending for consults and follow-up care.
• Manage, treat, order, and interpret labs and diagnostics for adult cardiac patients.
