Market Street Staffing seeks an experienced APP (NP/PA) for long-term cardiology coverage in Richland, WA. The role requires active Washington licensure, board certification, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of cardiology experience. Inpatient and call coverage with EPIC EMR, independent contractor arrangement.

Schedule includes weekdays and rotating weekend call; travel benefits offered if residing over 50 miles from the facility. Independent contractor role with limited benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Washington licensure and board certification in cardiology APP roles.
• National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty (e.g., AANP).
• Active Washington PA license and NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
• Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

PracticeSetting:

• Inpatient and Call coverage
• Stress test experience required
• Average 8 PPD

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4:00p
• 1:3 rotating weekend call, 8-hrs Saturday and Sunday

EMR: EPIC

Credentialing: 30-90 days

Requirements:

Licenses& Certifications:

• Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in Washington
• Nationalcertification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy ofNurse Practitioners [AANP])
• Activeand unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Washington
• Nationalcertification from the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:

• Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experiencein a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

Travel:
