Summary

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a BC/BE Imaging/General Cardiologist in Springfield, IL. Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

Position Details

• Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30pm
• 1 weekend per month
• Cardiac Imaging - Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Echo, Nuclear Cardiac Imaging, and Vascular Imaging
• Participation in established structural heart procedures involving complex TEE
• High volume Coronary Intervention procedures
• Support staff includes RN/LPNs, Medical Assistants, schedulers, and secretary
• EPIC EMR system

• Base guarantee
• Time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly
• Vacation and CME time of 6 weeks for new partners, with gradual increases of 1 week every 2 years up to 12 weeks per year
• CME reimbursement + days per fiscal year

Position Requirements

• Unrestricted Illinois medical license prior to start
• M.D./D.O. or equivalent degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Prefer MRI training
• Fellowship-trained new graduates are welcome to apply
• The position does not support J1 visas
