Job description

Full-time, Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a combined inpatient/outpatient role, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Office/Clinic - 2 days per week

1. Initially see 1 patient per hour, with gradual increase over time
2. Established patients: 15 minutes
3. New patients: 20 minutes with APP
4. Office hours: 8am start, last patient at 4pm

Hospital Rounds - 3 days/week

1. Average of 1-2 TEE procedures per day
2. Team includes 2-3 full-time APPs and 1 full-time nurse
3. 2 rounding doctors

Weeknight Call (phone only)

1. Frequency: once every 2 weeks
2. Hours: 4:30pm to 8am
3. Routine after-hours calls are minimal, usually for office patients and held for the next business day

Weekend Call

1. Every 5th weekend
2. Saturday and Sunday rounds

Imaging and Testing

1. Echo: average 4-5 daily
2. Nuclear: average 2-3 daily

Compensation and Benefits

1. Year 1: $400,000 salary + $25,000 guaranteed bonus
2. Year 2: $425,000 + productivity bonus
3. Potential partnership eligibility in Year 2

Annual paid time off: 36 days total, including 25 PTO days, 6 holidays, and 5 CME days. CME reimbursement up to $5,000/year. Relocation expenses covered if applicable. Benefits include health insurance for physician and family, malpractice coverage, life and disability insurance, and a 3% practice contribution to 401(k). Partnership may be offered after the first full year.
